Meet-up sessions...
Ok, so we went out on Friday night; the “OLD” gang. For that, I exchanged my privilege to go back earlier on Friday with Mitch. However, the gals can’t make it that early and can only meet up at 8pm; bloody hell. Landed up, went to Raffles City to buy my 2nd pair of running shoes (which I plan to buy all along) with Linus & Claudia.
Got the 20% voucher from the RealRun competition last week. The sales guys there are pretty professional and knowledgeable. They know everything about the feet and the shoes. Quite technical terms though. Explained everything in detailed to us. Anyway, me & Linus bought the shoes. Mine is $159; before discount. Then, met up with the gals at the taxi stand to go down to Blooie’s at Science Park II.
Wilson & Ray were there already when we reached. Had wine and beers and pork chop and chicken chop and that’s about it. Bills came out to be $200; Expensive ? I dunno.
Left the place at 10plus and went on to HongKong Café at East Coast Road which seems to be the buzz recently where everybody is talking about it. Quite packed when we reached there. Tried the famous desserts and some finger food there. Bills came out to be $60; Expensive ? I dunno. 2 of the topics of the night; set the next outing & planning on T.U.G tour. Left the place at 1plus.
Ray sent me back. Haha...save me like $10 at least. Then, went to gym with him again on Saturday morning. Tried on my new shoe; quite shiok. Dun really run for long…just wanna ‘season” the shoe first. Ray left at 11plus and Wilson came downtown for lunch. Bought some sports attire…yeah, some “dri-fit” thingy. I dun have any previously, ok.
And yeah, bought another chill-out album from That CD Shop. While walking around, Abhijit called me and asked me to go down to East Coast Park for some drinking session. He got some friends that came down from HongKong or Canada…can’t really remember. Totally not in the mood to go out…rejected him but as usual, the fat fella will keep on insisting and kind of “throwing his tantrums”…told him off “mildly’ and said will message him if I wanna go…just to cut him off the line…haha... Fuck, really one of those spoilt brat at times…
So, it’s Sunday. Decided not to go out at all…just to compensate back for the expensive 2 days I had. It’ll be a cheap Sunday…with maximum $10 expenses.
