Just now, after my gym session at Planet Fitness; in the cab:
Me: Tampines St. 21
Blur Uncle: 31 huh ?
Me: No, 21.
Blur Uncle: Oh, Ok.
After short talk about which route to take and finally decided to take ECP.
Blur Uncle: St. 83 huh ?
Me: As nice as I can be; No, 21 !!
Blur Uncle: Oh, Ok.
Fine…so we went around and exited Suntec and about to go up to ECP (so I thought). He then, out of nowhere turn to the another road leading to Stadium / Kallang. After awhile…like 5 mins into it…
Blur Uncle: (I dunno he’s talking to himself or me but…) Shit, took the wrong road…!
Me: !!%#*@ (as in..in my mind)
Blur Uncle: We’ll go thru Geylang and take the PIE la, hor !?
ME: OK !
So, there we went…passing by the crowded Geylang Rds…
Exited PIE at Tampines New Town…
Blur Uncle: St 31 hor ?
Me: FUCK la uncle, it’s St. 21 !! (ok ok…I din say the FUCK)
Reached home with the meter showin $12.20. And so you thought he’ll not charge me the 20cents rite…WRONG. Gave him $20 and gave me back exactly…$7.80. Fuck rite !!??
