Friends !!

My fren, Keong from M’sia just called me earlier. I really feel bad as it’s always him to really make the effort to call once in awhile. And he’s one of my very good frens from of course, my very limited frens in M’sia. And, I dunno, maybe it’s fated, he always call on the wrong timing either I’m outside having dinner (noisy) or I’m clubbing (tipsy) or in a cab (need to give direction) or in the office (people eavesdropping) or I’m about to sleep (no mood) or in a shower (obvious reason). I’ll always say I’ll call back but I NEVER (ok, unless, it’s really something urgent). Having said that, however, I actually lost interesting topics with him or maybe, personally, I dun really like to talk on the phone. Sometimes, I’m having a hard time thinking what to talk next…it’s always the few meaningless common questions. Still, of course, being frens for over 20years, we have that kind of solid friendship in us already. So, maybe distance or lifestyle or job does make people drifted apart. Haiz, dun talk about frens in M’sia…some frens in Spore are also bloody difficult to maintain. Come’on, be realistic, no matter how good you are before, if no sincere efforts are made, it’s just no use. The friendship will just fade away…it’s a pity though.
