World Cup started yesterday...and so am my drinking.

I went out for my unofficial outing last night. It was an ad hoc thingy decided late Thursday’s evening. So, I guess, there will be or should be another more proper-planned drinking session in coming weeks…
Anyway, we left pretty early, like 8pm for dinner at the Teochew-type restaurant around the Suntec’s fountain. Only the 6 of us; Mich & Bryan can’t make it. We then, walked back to Paulaner’s. It’s damn bloody crowded and only then, I realized that it’s the World Cup opening match. No wonder so many German fans there. But, somehow, we still managed to find a table at this little corner at the 2nd floor. Its great fun bitching about everyone in the office…yes, as usual…and also funny as this damn Abhijit imitating almost about everyone in the office and look exactly like them…how those investment manager behaving in the office and their specific habits…damn real…This brown guy damn joker…
At 12, it’s only left me, linus and abhijit. Left Paulaner and stopped by at Bala; surprisingly, quite empty; gone were the soccer fans, I guess. Then, we went to NAB. Damn bloody hell, this time the bouncer really let him in…only. Me and and linus totally being ignored and got to pay for it. Fine. Abhijit’s friend, Sophia joined us; a graphic designer. Had few more drinks there while watching the view outside, people dancing and…the soccer game.
Linus left at 1 plus. We stayed till 2plus and as expected, we went to check out some other places; the Insomnia across the street…and also, we went to Clark Quay to check out few more places; heng arh, all closing soon at 3 – 3.30…except MOS & Attica; which Sophia totally against going in. Inside my heart, I thought…Yeeeesss, can go back home liao...So, landed up, I reached home at 4am…totally dried-up.
