No choice; I left office at 7.05pm although the works was like still halfway thru… My boss handles it alone. And yeah, I left my mobile at home this morning; the feeling of uncontactable was so LOST. So, I just came back from Christine’s wedding at Meritus Mandarin. Acceptable food but not the service. Seems like staff not properly trained leh... Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS to the new couple. Again, saw few of the ex-colleagues. Always feel like reunion dinner like that… Many new faces in my previous unit liao. We dun know more and more of them. And of course, the CCS Gang was there minus the Kotek. Took some pictures. Had 3 small glasses of wine. As usual, I hated the “yum seng” part. It became more and more meaningless…unless you do it at the table…but nowadays, very rush mah, I guess. Do you all buy souvenirs for friends during your trips ?? Ha-ha…Yin Pei who just came back from India recently bought us chocolate each and some other little gifts. Then, Beanie who went Taiwan last week, bought us a very nice key-chain and some Taiwanese tidbits. I think it is very thoughtful of them and nice. People really spend time choosing and buying those things. I think I’ll be too lazy to buy lor…and I must admit, I seldom buy things for people during my holidays…but then again, I SELDOM goes on holidays. Anyway, the dinner finished at 10plus 11. Our Mr. Nice Guy aka Beanie, sent us back, though he’s in the 6am shift later. Inside the car, our Miss Zuney revealed few nonsense things…as usual. One being, she’s the Employee of the Month in January 1999. Two, reminded us that when chase by ghost, it will be like running in your dreams; meaning you actually still at the same place although you’re running very hard. Three, pulling the wrong “hand-brake” when she’s driving…hahaha…
Hmmm…fine, my hair no wet wet liao...can go to sleep already. Housewarming day, tomorrow…opps...no...it's later, tonight. Chao...
