Great Life Experience...
The SUN totally took the day off today. It’s drizzling all the way from morning till now… I’m like crawling to the toilet when I woke up. Had many many dreams again last nite. None of them wet, btw. Damn bloody sleepy in the office...I meant the whole day. Even standing in the lift or while peeing, I felt sleepy. Yes, it’s that serious. Today, we, AGAIN, had free expensive lunch. The MD, as usual, once in awhile, will bring us out for lunch. Today, we were at RENNthai, Suntec. Obviously, it’s Thai food. Quite nice, though the service is quite slow; due to the packed crowd. The 5 of us, we had about 8 dishes. Bloody bloated after that…almost can’t walk back to office…especially after the killer desserts. After joining this co, we had this kind of sumptuous meals pretty often. From Crystal Jade to Conrad Hotel to Paulaner to some fanciful Japanese food to Esplanade to some Brazilian food…but seriously, I hate to socialize in this kind of outings !! And the worst thing is, you can't reject it unless you have a fucking very reasonable excuse…Haiz...wat to do, you want free good food, then you need to mix around lor…Haha..ok lah...not really that bad lah…we now take it as staff-bonding session lor…But one thing for sure, our MD is not your typical Korean man. He’s liked the ABK (American-born-Korean) with very broad and open mindset. Well, at least he seems like that, to us. He basically left Korea when he’s just 3 years old. Anyway, he came from a well-to-do family one…His father’s a diplomat. So, he needs to move around every other 18months since young. He’s in his early 40s now and stayed in almost 20+++ countries liao. And he can speak so many languages fluently. He’s still got the very Korean look though. I’m personally quite amazed by his stories… Just heard something unpleasant before I left office…It’s none of my business…but just listen lor… I can’t believe it. Politics – Politics – Politics. Anyway, it’s rather sensitive issue to continue…
