I went for my 1st traditional Chinese sinseh consultation today. Fine...it’s just out of the blue thingy. My colleague passed by this TCM hall and wanted to check on his cough / flu condition since it has been quite awhile...so, I joined him lor...anyway, under our medical expenses, we can claim the bills. Ok, it was my colleague who went in first. Me and my another colleague were waiting outside checking out all the various types of Chinese medicines. I actually wanted to back out ‘coz seriously, I dun really have any “problem” or sickness to “report” at that moment...but haiz, fuck la...just name some old issues lor, my coll said. OK...when it’s my turn, I told the old man that I had problem with my sleeps...always got dreams and lots of it; so making me feeling very tired the next day or sometimes, headache. The old man looked at me and gave me that “So, what the fuck you want me to do ?” look. I think he also boh-bian and think of something to say. HE said, maybe I need to change my lifestyle a little bit, dun drink too much water at nite, dun watch “exciting” TV or do some sports...I said OH, OK. Then, I forced myself to come out with something more since already paid for the consultation fee; I said sometimes, I feel like I have this little phlegm but cannot cough out...so making it feeling irritating. Wow...good one, can think of this in such a short time...He said, ok...dun drink too much cold water...and that’s about it. Came out and waited for the medicines; 2 bottles of dark color syrup and I packet of pills; $40. Walau...I tell you, the syrups are REALLY like those medicated water / oil used to rub your legs or any parts of your body or whatever...I almost puke out immediately when I took it earlier...

Blah...blah...blast from last week...

Well...last Wednesday, trying to be Mr. Spoilt Market, I applied for an emergency leave instead of taking MC because I dun really feel so good. In fact, I went to see doctor on Tuesday’s afternoon (and bloody hell, the doctor must have known it’s on company expense, keep on giving me all kinds of medicine; $49) and I went back early too...around 5.30pm by taking cab somemore. Slept at...like 8.30pm; after my favorite drink; cough syrup. Still, dun feel super good the next day. You see, how nice of me to the company...just like old time...But seriously, I’m about to plan to take leave too one of these days...as to clear my remaining 3 more days. So anyway, Wednesday; slept whole day. Thursday; went back to work and blurred whole day. Friday, Brandon on leave; but the situation is so different now with the new-girl-helper. Anyway, we went for adhoc dinner; the 5 of us from office and that’s about it...just dinner. Still feeling wobbly on Saturday morning. Went to the temple with Wilson and later followed by the movie The Sentinel. Came back home right after the show. Again, slept early...told you, the syrup is miracle. Sunday woke up, STILL feeling shitty...so just rest at home till evening and went out for dinner. So, as I mentioned in my earlier post, I basically din do anything at all during the last few days. Hmm...but at least on the financial side, I strike 4D two weeks continuously. On the 16th weekend, I won $250 (pay the bills for Country Rd & Zara) and on the 22nd weekend, I won another $250 (bills for Sisley & Pedro). Good...the mighty 4D luck is coming to me...Then on another note; I’m going KL this long weekend !! By JAL and staying at The Westin. It should be a Rest & Relax trip – from Friday nite to Monday nite. First time traveling with these people, so dun know how’s gonna be...But two things for sure, hardcore drinking in the hotel room and most probably meeting some old friends there...

Sleep sleep sleep & sleep...

No updates at all due to sick week…yeah…feeling not too well the whole week…and it’s Sunday nite now…what a life…not doing anything at all…no housework-no revision-no shopping-no cleaning-no drinking…and few days just passed like that…OK…fine, will come back again to update…

Fuck...so fast, it's Sunday !!!

Because of the bloody previous night-out, decided to go to the gym again. At least, sweat out back a little bit though I think I need more than exercise to balance it…And because of the trip, I bought another pair of shoe from PEDRO; a working shoe this time. Ok…fine, that’s about it…no more buying (as in hardcore shopping) until next year…Came back and as usual, HOUSEWORK day…and of course, after my nap. Hmmm...nothing to look forward to in the coming week...yeah, except Friday will be my 1st new salary...YESSS !! As for now, bloooody SIAN and moooody...

Shopping Spree...at last.

I went to the Gym this morning; Cali gym. Yeah…still holding on to the card. Half-way thru, the personal trainer approached me and said I was doing the wrong move over at the bicep machine…yeah…this is the last thing I want…pressurizing me…Taught me the correct way of handling the machine if I wanna concentrate on the bicep’s muscle. Yeah yeah yeah…and worst of all he asked me to do it while he’s checking on me…walau…damn stress…luckily for me…someone called him after awhile and he said he’ll be back…that’s it..my escape chance…straight away went to some other area to hide… Anyway, after the gym, looked around Wisma / Taka and bought 1 Polo T from Country Road…and…and I’m not done yet…also, bought a pair of shoe from Zara; not a working shoe but more to slip on smart casual shoe. Yeah…I heard people saying WALAU !!! But I mentioned before wat…I’ll make a killing…someday. At night, met up with Wilson at Katong for dinner and proceeded to Mel’s place for the soccer matches; Chelsea vs Bolton and Arsenal vs West Brom. Left the place at 12plus after 2 jugs of beer, 1 bowl of peanuts, 2 plates of topshells and 1 basket of fries; ALL SUPER HIGH CALORIES.

Public Holiday: Good Friday

Edna’s baby Tyler 1 month celebration. The whole T.U.G went except Sharon which holidaying now at Bali. Bloody hell…that woman on average, maybe one month once…vacationing ?? Anyway, the “party” was at Sengkang. Reached there around 12pm and left at 2pm once the crowd started coming in and it’s damn packed. Ray dropped us at Orchard. It’s bloody jam and it’s raining. After combing out (AGAIN) the whole bloody Orchard Rd, yes, finally, I started spending but its like buy for the sake of buying. Bought a berms; a nice berms from Sisley. That’s about it for the day.

I Corona and I Kilkenny

Had an impromptu outing with Claudia & Linus since the other outing doesn’t turn out “very successful”. We went to The Soup Restaurant for dinner and followed by drinks at Marina Mandarin; Atrium Lounge. It’s very big and spacious after their renovation. Believe me…it’s really HUGE. Ya’ll should try it one day. No nice view though but with “live instrumental music”. Well…colleagues outing nothing new but bitch about everyone in the office which is the usual topics…

Jealous...Me...You must be kidding...

Fine, the new marketing guy came in on Monday. Thank god, he’s not as good-looking as EVERYONE in the office was saying. The God seems fair…at least for this time. Why ? I heard you asking ! I had a closer look at him when we’re being introduced the other day. He got some quite obvious zit marks…from last time breakouts I guess…It’s quite mild but at a near distance, you wun miss it. Other than this, generally, he's fine. Young...quite well-built…with nice eyes and chic hair-cut. Ha-ha…before this, the whole office people were saying about this “handsome” guy who will be joining…and I believe so…‘coz I saw him from far 2-3 times before. Well…at least I’m still in the top 3…hahahaha…Wat happen if one day he read this ??

I need help.

Ok…fine. I think it’s about time. I’m going to make an appointment with Dr Tay (recommended by Sharon), a skin specialist to check out my bloody face.

Should I thank my bloody zits; you know why, because of it, I lost fucking interest to buy things during today’s shopping. Or izit maybe because everytime when you seriously plan to buy things but you’ll always landed up buying nothing. Yeap, so today, besides the meals, I came back with zero purchase. Totally din spend anything at all. The dinner is ex though; buying Wilson & Sharon at Coca. (they both bought me dinner the other time when they got theirs) However, the menu at Coca changed; personally I find it not that great anymore. Proceeded to Coffee Club outside California Fitness Gym. At least must ketuk them back a little bit mah…Damn bloody crowded but surprisingly there’s no queue at all at the taxi stand…maybe people dun go back early (11pm) on Saturday night. And yeah, btw, we watched Inside Man at Cineleisure earlier.

Another failed attempt to go gym during lunchtime.
Anyway, we went Axis Bar (an outing that we’ve been planning since last week). We; meaning the colleagues. Axis Bar is at The Oriental Hotel. Greg was there too…for his MS yearly D&D. Had quite a few tonight. Beers, some cocktails, tequila shot and finished off with bourbon coke. A good place to chill-out with a very quiet environment with good/nice sofa seats and fantastic view. A bit expensive though and yeah, 1 minus point, no live band. I guess it’s more for relax and chatting place. Anyway, left the place at 12plus to meet up with Ray & Wilson for supper at Upper Thomson Road; yeah, the usual stuff, prata & nasi goreng. Reached home at 3am.

Dexter: Haiyah…dun worry la…it’ll get away one day…

And so, there we all went…Paulaner Brauhaus…for some drinking session and german sausages…the 6 of us;colleagues bonding session. It's a nice outing though with lots of crazy topics.

Nice Lunch ??

We had free lunch today (yeah, I heard, AGAIN). It’s to welcome our new operation colleague. We had Japanese food (yeah, I heard, AGAIN) at this Wasabi Cuisine at The Oriental Hotel. For a simple lunch like that; $500+ for 9 person…wat do you think ? Next week will be a new marketing guy coming in…so, will we have free lunch AGAIN ?

Lazy Saturday afternoon...

Another attempt in my "saving" weekend mission. Yeah…funny thing; we each got a cheque for our bonuses. Banked in this morning and bought the 4D. OK…fine…will be making the killing next week once settle all my budgeting and financing…and see how much left…which I dun think much. Anyway, also will be another attempt for me to start the revision…haiz…FUCK.

Another outing...

We had many discussions about doing some small scale travelling or outing in the office earlier. All the nearby destinations being mentioned... hmmm.. haha... not easy to plan...with office people. Anyway, another dinner appointment with PT, Greg, Roger & Karen tonight. Had this Italian food at Menotti…right at Raffles City followed by drinks at IntroBar. Dun really like the food…maybe ordered the wrong thing…some greeny linguine. Wine + beer at the bar…of course with moderate intakes…so, it’s fine. Whole night topics all about work and work and work. Hahaha…that’s about it. Left the place at 12 plus…
