Anyway, just finished packing…and will be leaving at 6.30am tomorrow. Anyway, left office at 5.45pm…yes, it’s India Holiday. Went for an appointment at FM and followed by the gym. Bloody packed…maybe it’s the peak hour…7plus…Ran for 5.5km and do some crunches…And reached home just now at 10plus…Need to Zzzzzzzzzzz NOW…

I dun know why but after just 2 glasses of champagne earlier in office…and I’m quite tipsy liao...maybe it’s the tiredness or the mood, I dun know…Anyway, we got this cheesecake from Pan-Pac for office January birthday boys…

I went to the gym this morning…after like…2 months ?? Damn bloody tired…Met up with Wilson for some CNY shopping. Bought something for my mum & dad…ooh...so sweet…Then, used up my Isetan voucher to buy a Country Road pants. Must use the vouchers already as the expiry date will be next week. Quite ex though...$169 !! Will be collecting next Thursday. Walked and walked and walked…from Tangs to Isetan to Wheelock to Taka to Heeren to Paragon…Had drinks at Spinelli and enjoying the “view” there. Btw, it’s raining in Orchard earlier…
Thought of buying the Ipod Video leh…haiz…ok, will buy it if I have a reasonable bonus…And yeah, fuck, Wilson, Ray and gang and the rest of the whole world are getting their bonuses next week…only me, myself & I dunno when or will get it or not !!

Chinatown during CNY...

Supposed to have “office gang”(Bran, Linus, Claud & Dawn) outing tonight. Some kind of belated birthday for Linus & early birthday for me. The plan will be dinner at Maxwell market, and followed by the rooftop bar at Scarlet Hotel (already booked). Haiz...last min, our dear Dawny msg’ed and said that she’s too tired and not feeling well…so, not joining liao…Anyway, also good lah…we can’t really leave at 800 too…so, the whole thing was called-off lor…Landed up, we worked till 930 and since Linus was still around, we went ahead with dinner…the so-called famous frog-leg porridge at Chinatown. Bloody hell…it’s damn crowded, man… the whole street was like filled with EVERYBODY…So, we had frog-leg porridge, the raw fish, veggie & toufu; $27. Expensive…for 3 person ?? Chit-chatted at MacD till 11 plus and rushed for the last train. Bloody hell…shouldn’t have listened to Linus…We went to Chinatown station and due to kan cheong & unfamiliar feeling I had, was wondering how to get to East-West line…then this bloody Linus said that I need to go up back and walk thru another pathway to reach the East-West line. So, went up and out and can’t find any signs and fuck, realized that I should’ve just take the train just now and go Outram Park to change to the East-West line…damn it…wasted my money and energy and time…anyway, immediately screwed him liao…

Today, we had free lunch at OLIO, Suntec. The creamy pasta made me bloody bloated after that…plus the bread (it’s nice, though) plus the mushroom soup plus the salad plus tiramisu plus the cranberry juice plus the mango juice…

Someone stalking me...

It was an empty but very bright room...somewhere in a huge building. I was tied up to the chair. Then, there was this girl, (somehow, can't recall her face leh...) a psycho, I believe, was mumbling something and pointing a knife at me. And then, when she's not around, I started to struggle to release myself from the rope...and I managed to do it...ran and ran and ran...as fast as I can to get out from the bloody building...reached outside and fuck, there're those super high fences surrounding the building with barbwire...Climbed up the fence and trying very hard not to get hurt and from far, saw that psycho running towards me...and then, it's when the alarm sounded..as in my own alarm clock. Haiz...dreams...dreams...dreams...my loyal bestfren...has been following me for years...So, mentally (for trying very hard to figure out how to untie the rope & avoiding the barbwire) and physically (for running very fast and thru the entire staircase) exhausted now...

Attended a wake...

Just came back from Zuney’s granny wake. Met up with Fongy & YP for dinner first at around 830 before going together. (supposed to meet at 715; can’t believe it...all because of bloody India trades, AGAIN) And today has been declared to be “can’t-depends-on-cab” day. Why leh ? 1st, waited for damn long for a cab at the Millennia Tower’s taxi stand. (only when we want to call cab, then 1 cab came in to drop passenger; so, got it) 2nd, the taxi driver heard the wrong place and took us to somewhere near Orchard area. (can’t really blame him, anyone know Gloucester Road ?) But he’s very nice and asked us to pay just $5 though the meter showing $8++. 3rd, dropped us not exactly at the block and we need to walk thru this muddy place to cross over to the right place. 4th, waited for bloody long for a cab at Serangoon Road when we want to go home. About to call cab, then 1 cab appeared…Haiz...that’s why we should educate people not to call cab anyhow or you will spoil the market…!

Golden Globes Mania...

Clearing my leave today – ok...ok...at the same time to watch the Golden Globes Award LIVE !! Kind of hardcore…initially my plan was to watch a marathon all the way from yesterday midnite, in fact, this morning 1am till 2 pm today. E Channel was showing Pre-show from 1am to 7am, followed by LIVE from the red carpet from 7am to 9am. Then, the award show itself from 9am to 12 noon. From 12 noon to 2pm will be the Post-award show. Ha-ha…I’m insane. Anyway, I skipped the pre-show and only started watching this morning from 7am. Anyway, in short, Brokeback Mountain seems to be the front-runner for the Oscar…Next will be the S.A.G award show before the big orgasm…
Met a new Prudential Agent (recommended by InnKien) at 2.30pm, Patricia. Thought of doing something to my policies and also, planning to use my CPF to invest in unit trust. Came back at 4 and she will draft out a mini financial planning for me next week. Will be meeting up with Susan later for dinner; somewhere in Tampines. And I totally forgotten about my the other intention of taking leave today; to transfer my PR stamp from the old to the new passport…haiz…seems like need to sneak out again during one of the lunch time…

Sunday Morning...

Supposed to go gym this early morning with Fongy & JC but it just too dreadful to drag myself out of the bed at 9. Sorry, people…maybe next round. Landed up, had brunch with Seow at Bedok. Supposed to meet Wilson & Sharon too, later to watch Memoirs but Miss Right want to watch it, so, not going to meet them liao. Furthermore, Wilson is to watch 2nd time though he doesn’t mind…but wat for…!

Yesterday Nite...

Friday Night: Supposed to have 3 things going on; 1st. Vanessa, the fund accountant from Citi was organizing a gathering for all the fund acct-present & past. Not going for that since not really that close to majority of them. 2nd. Arnie’s farewell outing. Her last day with Citi was on Thursday and a mail was sent out to say there’ll be drinking session on Friday but…in the end, no news or follow-up since…Maybe, I didn’t bother to ask too…and 3rd. The CCC Gang. So, left office at 7.30pm to…supposingly meet Kotek. However half-way there, Zuney called and said she was done. OK…so, met up wit her first at Raffles Place before proceeding to Lau Pa Sat. In the end, the bloody Kotek said he needed awhile more. OK. Waited for him for half an hour…called him again…and as expected, needed awhile more. Fine, waited another half an hour. Called him and he said, why not we go ahead with the dinner first. Bloody hell, should have told us earlier mah. Never mind, 1 hour later…after the dinner, called him and he said, coming down now…Anyway, walked over to his office at DBS Building. Downstairs, and he still not done yet. It’s only AWHILE more, then he’s done. Walked back to Lau Pa Sat to accompany him dinner there. Talked a lot during the whole dinner. Seems like many things happened in his life…like he got R.O.M, his studies, his works & and his preparation for the customary wedding in May. Haiz…it has been awhile since we last talked…Same goes for Zuney, her flat, works & getting ROM soon…
Anyway, after the dinner, we went Penny Black and seated outside, the riverside. Fongy joined us after her D & D at about 11pm. So, the only missing person; Beanie. No news from him. Chatted till around 2…. And yeah, got few packets of angpow from Kotek which is from Deutsche…and will be getting some from Zuney; from DBS Priority banking.
And the other day, got it from Greg too… which is from State Street.

Today’s special: If you spent $50 and above at Carrefour, you’ll get 30 eggs FREE. This bloody Uncle Linus, insisted everybody combine bills and look around for things so that we can add up to $50 !! Ok…get…set…go…searched the whole bloody Carrefour. So, in the end, it came out to be $80++…and fuck of all, he dun actually want the eggs… So, your dear cutie here, happily brought back 1 dozen of eggs just now all the way from office. (Claudia took the rest) I tell you, talking about domesticated, our office unofficial couple, Linus & Claudia are the super uncle and aunty among the…well, uncles & aunties. When they reach any big supermarkets, they’ll be like immediately reaching orgasm…When talking about household things or kitchenware, they’re like having foreplay. The time when they’re discussing about the ways of cooking, it just like having oral sex. You can literally see the happiness-completeness-satisfactoriness on their face… Haha…and FYI, one is just over mid twenties while the other one is just over 30s.
On another note, sneaked out after lunch time to go RELC to pay my exam fees; $1400. It's raining and it's damn crowded there. I thought since today is the last 3 days after 2 weeks of registration period, people should have paid already wat...right ?? So, never assume...Anyway, heng arh, most of the students were queuing for cash payment method (students no money to have cheque book, I guess). So, I went for the cheque method which was faster..

Today is India PH.

India Holiday = Early knock-off day. Reached home around 6.30pm and straight went out dinner with Seow. Came back and managed to settle / file some bills and cleared away some college stuff (yes, I still got 1 semester to go…though I missed most of the classes!). Tomorrow might be going down to RELC to pay my final exam fees = $1400. What the fuck…there goes another savings…
And yeah, collected my passport this afternoon. Quite fast…around 1 hour including the journey to / fro office. And the ever impressive “security guard”, looked after the passport collection queue too…and handling queries at the same time…Hmmm...I suspect they’re not any ordinary guard !!

I actually forgotten how it felt to work on Public Holiday !!

It has been busy days for me...as in busy at work. Sometimes I just can’t understand these people, why can’t they pass on information properly and told us earlier that the specific new fund will be launched on Monday !! If we had known it earlier, at least my boss wun be on leave on that day. Bloody hell, just told me on that day morning itself that the final amount has been confirmed and the PM will be starting trading that day. Walau, dun tell me such big and important news they dun know the exact date earlier ?? Yes, the whole team knows about the new fund but the thing is, nobody knows when !! And worst of all, it’s a bloody big fund…India fund. So, landed up got to stay till 10+++ on Monday…alone. And there were so many problems with the trades…all happen together…you see, the GOD is so fair. And then, bad news…got to come in on Tuesday…to work (which I’ve been boasting all along that I DUN work on public holidays). Why leh ?? Yes, the India trades again…something to do with some “cross-over trading”…dun know what the fuck lah…Went in this morning at 10plus to clear off some remaining things from yesterday and waited for today’s trades. And answered some issues…more like forwarding some issues…And the biggest blow are not all these…Seems like we’re expected to work like the local Korean here…Haiz…because it’s a new company, NOT ALL HR related issues or policies were written down in the manual. There are certain things not being mentioned at all. So, today I worked for free lor… though it’s about 4 hours only. And no claims at all…no meal…no transport…no nuts…no fuck…

It's raining...

It’s raining cats & dogs & elephants & pigs & hippos for the past 3 days liao. For today, it has been raining since early morning non-stop till now. Walau…it’s a wet wet wet day. Can’t do anything at all…so boring. Anyway, will meet up with Wil later to pass him the long over-due birthday vouchers IF the rain stops…Hmmm but as I type out this entry, the rain seems getting heavier…

Just came back from Leonard & Drake. Feeling satisfied ‘coz I managed to fence off and rejected to buy a new package (though I still have few more sessions to go). This girl said that I should alternate with another program to balance up my skin condition…blah…blah…blah… Gave her some excuses and said let me consider and see how 1st…However, might be bringing Miss Right there for trial session or maybe sign-up…then got free gift mah…Well…tonite is my ex-department annual D & D. So fast 1 year already… Last year was Oscar night where I won the mini IPOD. This year will be Shanghai Night; very Betty Night. Last year, Beanie & Fongy were gone too…terribly GONE. Then, last year was our dear fren, Kotek slept at the letter box area at Fongy’s apartment…and yeah, they lost their handphones too. Also, Zuney used the Gents without hesitating…and did some recce inside…Haiz…all these were 1 year ago...and most of us left liao...Hopefully, Beanie wun landed up like that tonite… Beanie, take care and if you really need to, choose the handicapped cubicle...at least can lie down straight & flat...we'll go and save you the next day...

Friday at BREWERKZ...

Ok…it has been confirmed; our fren, Karen it’s the queen of the “fly-aero plane” title. A pilot in a top form condition… We now pronounced her as Miss Fly. Walau, supposed to meet up with her, PT & Greg for dinner and drinks but as usual, to really really cemented her reputation, at the very last min...no seconds, said she can’t join because of…some lame excuses. Ok…fine…we cleared up our database liao…name deleted from the list…we moved on…As mentioned earlier, met PT & Greg at Clarke Quay at 8. I’m quite amazed of how happening the place were nowadays…though it’s super crowded with mostly angmohs or tourists…It is so packed everywhere…places like Forbidden City, The 1 NiteStand, Jumbo Seafood, The Iguanas, Hooters, Jade Szechuan Rest, etc…and landed up we were at Brewerkz after waited for 45mins.

It’s the first time I went there (missed the other time organized by our MD = free meals) and quite shocked of how it was…I thought it’s a small place but…wow…it’s huge ! Anyway, we were seated inside with not so noisy area but darker. Food; ok…angmoh’s food like wings, pizzas, calamari, sausages, salad, etc. But of course, the main attraction will be the so-called self-brewed beers. I tried the sampler set. With 8 different types of beers in small shot-glasses. And I eventually ordered another 1 pint of dun-know-wat-it-called beer with less bitterness and more on the fruity side. If I’m not wrong, it’s called “Golden Ale”. Had some life philosophy talks here…and what’s wrong with people’s fake slang. By the time we left the place at 12 plus, I was quite tipsy….yeah… that’s lousy for the night. And it’s quite expensive too…simple dinner like that cost us $44 bucks each.

Then, I met up with Ray for supper at Upper Thomson Road for simple pratas & teh tariks. And surprisingly, Fongy & JC made a guest appearance and joined us at around 1am. Fongy, izit the 1st time you see the serial killer talked so much ? Ha-ha... And so, begins the bonding of the 4 of us as Chrystal dun really know Ray dun really know JC dun really know me…Sounds cheesy or not ? ** someone, pls shoot me…** Anyway, Wil joined us at 2 plus. Talked for awhile more and left at 3plus.

It's beyond your control...

Just had dinner with our comeback kid, Fongy. Why comeback leh ? It’s because the women re-appeared after the boyfriend went back to work late shift…and I think it’ll for at least awhile. So, I guess she will be making guest appearance again until the guy called JC come back to normal shift. We went to Killiney, Siglap for char kway teow and tauhu goreng. Eh, come to think of it, how come I paid the whole thing arh ?? Fongy, did I say I wanna buy you dinner ?? Oops…yeah, you bought me back fruit tea at Cheesecake Shop. Ok…fair…Anyway, it’s a last minute dinner appointment. Msg’ed me at 6.45 to meet at 7.30… So, as I said, we ended up at Cheesecake Shop. Bitched about the same couples of people again and yeah, we talked about some serious topics too tonite. We left at 10plus.
On another note, the landlady called earlier to remind us that our contract is ending soon in Feb. And as expected, she want to increase another $50 monthly to $850 (and bloody hell, she already increased 1 time during the last contract renewal). Gave me lots of craps like the market now is picking up and outside the renting is at least 900plus to 1K. And then, she hoped that we’ll stay as she said she also dun wanna waste the agent fees again and vice-versa. And she followed by lots of other fuck excuses. Feeling very disappointed as frankly speaking, actually we can’t do anything unless we really move out AGAIN. And of course, with some simple calculation, paying the extra still save more than moving out. Haiz…will discuss with Miss Right and let the landlady know by next week of our decision.

All in One Night !

I went skiing and snow-boarding at the Swiss Alps yesterday nite. And mind you, the whole bloody stretch of the alps. And then, I went visiting my relatives. It’s not the close relatives’ somemore. So, you can imagine how tired I’m now. Arrrrgh...Why !! Why is this happening to me...? Why can’t I have a proper sleep with dreamless nite ?

Life’s short…cherish it.

As morning was spent vomiting, nuaing, headache-ing, resting and then sleeping, we decided to have a better dinner to kick off the new year. I’m not that serious but Miss Right, yes. She only “recovered” after her afternoon nap, around 4. So, we had chilli crab, fried sotong aka calamari and veggies where we bought back from the nearby coffee shop. The food not really that fantastic but passable.
Heng arh…tomorrow still holiday. Shiok man...how I like these holidays…!! Another resting day…and chor-boh day…
And btw, just heard some unpleasant news this morning…Such news made you realized life’s short. You gotto cherish yours and people around you. Anyway, no matter wat, life goes on. Hopefully such crisis will only make you stronger and tougher…mentally. LOVE.

New Year..new beginning...new hope...

2005 end with a BANG ! Well…at least for the few of us. As planned, went out dinner with Wilson and Shirley at Kar Soh (yes, I know. I just had it last Friday). But it’s convenient mah…just need to walk over to Far East Square nearby. They’ve some events (some elderly people singing concert) over at the Far East; right in front of Planet Fitness. Hmm…the night started slow and quiet. We reached Fluid Bar at about 8pm. There’re only about 2-3 tables of people. Ray was there already. He’s like the host like that (The bro-in-law’s the organizer)… Anyway, his wife, Suzanne, Jon and 1 big group of his other friends were there too. Ordered my first drinks of the many many drinks followed later. But mostly beers and lots of other diluted vodka too… By 9 plus, the place was quite occupied liao. We got 2 bloody BIG tables. 1 with Pauline, gang and new boyfriend. There’re about 12 people at her table but I only know her, her sister, Janice and May. The new boyfriend looks so young. Like poly student like that…
Anyway, our table has Shirley, Jen, Lai Heng (new guy from Citi), Denise, Rachel & BF (also called Darren), Felicia, Wilson & Ray. Pauline brought along lots of those foam spray and party stuff. Walau, when the 12 o’clock striked, we sprayed like nobody business man… The whole table flooded with foams…and our bodies too…check out the pictures soon…There’re fireworks but too bad, blocked by all the tall buildings around…We continued drinking thru the nite. Hmm, let me see, Pauline, (I really really like her as a drinking buddy) as expected, STILL very good in drinking. She can down the same amount as us, the guys, but in the end, she’ll still sober and walking…And, she’s good at those drinking games. As I always stress, she can really live up the drinking atmosphere…haiz...miss those days went cheonging with her…Ok...back on track…Ray was gone by midnite and totally gone by 1. So, as usual, once he’s high, there’ll be lots of gay shots. And when we’re on the line with Sharon, we already talking foolish things…as I was quite high too...talking super lots of nonsense…especially with this new guy, Lai Heng. (wat’s the fuck with the name ??) The most talked about topics; nonsense & more nonsense. Wilson was quite OK...I think. Trying to make chances for him with Fel but seems like after I had some serious talking with her, chances are pretty slim. But ok leh…at least she dun totally shut the door…Then, the unofficial photographer, Shirley, really took lots pictures. Can’t wait to see those pictures. Ha-ha…overall, quite fun lah…stayed there till 3plus 4. And can you believe it; we tried to book a cab at 4 and can’t find one…!! Reached home at 5 plus… and gone within seconds…
That’s about it…now having slight hang-over…time will heal it… Miss Right was gone too...though she dun really drank much. Still vomiting up till now…whatever go in, come out back…Seems like she’s more chalak…
