Medical review...

Collected my medical review. Haiz...again the cholesterol level is high...though slightly lower than last year...but still HIGH. Sigh...i thought I already exercise a lot and watch out my diet...but still...The doctor told me that if I’m sure I’ve done all these consistently and the level still didn’t improve, then it could be genetic liao. I might have to consider medication next year if it’s still bloody high. But well, she said I should be fine since the rest of the report is super fine and fit. And yeah, at the same time went for my Hep A & B jabs too. They call it jumbo package nowadays.

What's the use !!?

Phew...the air-cond in my room finally fixed. Fuck...got to fork out 80 bucks for the bloody servicing & maintenance or whatever you call it. The owner must damn happy ‘coz she doesn’t have to pay anything. Screw her. More irritated was now that I’ve the air-cond, the haze is gone = the weather not so hot !

Went out to meet Fongy & Zuney at Menotti; the Italian restaurant at Raffles City. Second attempt but still don’t really like it. Continued with dessert at Baker’s Inn. I’m totally so in love with their chocolate warm cake. Bloody sinful...I dun care...I already had my check-up and although I just had it 2 days earlier with Greg & PT at the Millenia branch. Anyway, have to cut short the outing while catchng-up with them 'coz Miss Right left her keys somewhere.

Not so hazy today.

Went to the gym with Fongy at 4pm...what a time man...like in the middle of nowhere. So, I went back to office to send out some instruction while waiting for 4. Walau, the train station is like...super fucking damn crowded. Anyway, after gym (I dun know why le, the tummy still showing prominently after all these running), we went to shop around before having dinner at Sun with Moon; the jap restaurant. No more that restaurant for the next 1 month.

Abhijit went down...

Went to Balaclava with some colleagues. Not crowded at all, surprisingly. Again, it’s a last min outing. Had drinks and some finger food there. The foods are damn bloody expensive. Anyway, Abhijit & Rick are totally gone-case. We got to hold him back. They keep on disturbing the waiters and shouting loudly and with lots of big action. Performing some kungfu action and stuff. The point is, they’re making a scene there. I guess the bouncers there are already on ‘alert’ mode liao. But ok la, kind of entertaining and funny; just need some control from us at times. Eventually, walked back to office (after trying very hard and said that it’s time to go back) with Abhijit & Claudia to collect some of their belongings. Reached office and MS (our CCO) is still around. Then, Abhijit being super high, talked a lot of nonsense with him and again, making a fool of himself. But I guess its ok since these two have a pretty good relationship. Left at 12plus though the fat guy still insists we proceed to NAB. Siao...

Jimmy’s Birthday

Went to Jimmy birthday bash at NewAsiaBar-Swissotel. At first, dun really feels like going, so dun really chio anyone to go along. But then, not very nice since I already skipped once last year. So, just show up and tell myself will be leaving at 12. Again, just did some catching up with ex-colleagues and the whole night, champagne, champagne & champagne. It’s MOET, mind you. Anyway, as promised, I left at 12.30am. I did ask Abhijit to come along but he last min ‘fly me aero plane’. Anyway, it’s Deepavali, what can I say. Anyway, dun think I can stay at home since I know Linus & gang are enjoying themselves at some semi-mountain area restaurant in Seoul...So, must find some activities for myself too mah...

Before meeting the gang, had 2 drinks with Abhijit at Bala. Quite a while since the last drinking we went. Anyway, met up with Ray, Edna, Wilson, Pauline, Greg, Felicia and some other new ppl from Citi. The few of us went for dinner first...somewhere at Tanjong Pager area; a place called Jerry, serving western food. Nice place and food but the waiters there all got attitude problem. And according to Ray later on, they only like to serve gays. Well, I dun know but at that time, they do have 1 table of gays there. We then, went to J Bar at M Hotel. Good chill-out place with a live band too. Dun really drink much though we did open 1 bottle of Chivas...but share by like 10 person. Nothing much, just catching up with Felicia about all the latest gossips happening at FE (my unit at Citi) Left the place at 2 and went for supper at Newton Circle. They totally revamped the place and I think about 70% of the stalls are selling barbeque seafood.

Peaceful office.

Most of the people are not around in the office. Some on business trip and some on leave and some on MC. Basically, it’s so quiet in the office that I can heat the toilet flushing. And I’m so jealous they’re going to meet Sean in Seoul for a happening coming weekend. Fine....take a deep breath, and control my jealousy.

Hah...what a relief. Finished my check-up and yeah...got poked at the backside. Well, but the lady doctor is very professional and made me so comfortable (not the poking) that I’m so willingly strip down for her. So, now just wait for the review in 2 weeks time.

My CDs collection.

I’ve been back to my old habit; buying lots of CDs. Some I’ve not even heard of but...just buy 1st lor policy. 8 Cds in 1 week. Quite bad. There goes my supposedly saving money scheme. And I’ve been so pro-japanese food recently. Besides that Friday night, again, I had lunch at this Sun with Moon jap restaurant at Wheelock Place. But it’s nice though.

Bloody HAZE !!!

The haze is the worst today. Morning, when I’m at the gym with Ray, CNA already showing ‘latest news’ being the PSI is in 119 – unhealthy range. When I looked out Orchard RD, it’s really that fucking hazy. Came back home and hide and watched my just bought The Da Vinci Code. The haze got worse at night with PSI at 150.

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival.

Supposed to be a movies night at Nich’s place. But most of the people can’t make it, so it was cancelled. Haiz, come to think of it, don’t really need to arrange such thing anymore since most of the people cant make it most of the time anyway. I landed up had dinner with Linus at this new Japanese restaurant; RakuZen at Millenia. Reached home around 11pm and Ray msg’d to ask whether wanna go out for drinks...at 12.05. Seow...of course not la...think I’m still young meh !!?

Public Holidays...but not S'pore.

This week will be a fucking good week being 1: the bosses won’t be around for 1 week. 2: Out of 5 days, 3 days will be Korea holidays. 3: And also, some of the days are either India or HongKong holidays. Isn’t that great ? And, more and more mooncakes are coming in. Bloody hell.
