Ageing nicely...

I had a long dream last night. I went back to my secondary school days. I’m in the classroom with so may familiar faces...and the weird thing is, all their faces were those of when they’re young and exactly at those school days time. Haiz...so many activities happened and it just exactly like long long long time ago. Pretty nostalgic feeling I had there. But at least I seem to be the center of attention there by being the most outstanding, smartest, funniest, handsomest etc which was all I’m NOT last time. Hahaha...I guess that’s what I lacked of in my childhood days and secretly, deep down, I want a payback time...in my dreams. Or izit like everyone say, growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional. Well, I’m certainly working towards the latter.
But on another note, many people said I dun look like 32 leh...MANY ok...like just over the weekend, during one of my taxi trip; the uncle asked me whether I’m in the national-service NOW ? Or the tailor we went the other day; you, the most 26 ? Or the personal trainer at Cali; you doesn’t look 32 AT ALL. Haiz...people dun like that le...I will really really trust you all one le...So dun laugh, I’m starting to believe I’m really in my late 20s, the most...

Another week...

Another week just passed like that. Went out to Penny Black for dinner and drinks there with colleagues on Friday nite. The live band there not bad leh…Then, as usual, went up to NewAsiaBar for awhile. Well, whenever there’s Abhijit, there’ll be NAB. But at least this time better, I really dun have to pay for the cover-charge. And with this Abhijit around, it seems so easy to make friends around us…Anyway, I left earlier since he met his sister there. Good excuse for me to leave.
Went to the gym with Ray on Saturday morning. Bloody hell…fell into one of the personal trainer’s trap. Got persuaded and psyched by him the whole 3 hours. Brought us up to do the free-weigh where all the HARDCORE people train. Felt damn intimidated where we always think that these are “restricted zone” for people like us. Guided us along with the whole work-out session and even gave us the body-analysis. Well, in the end, still never commit and said will need time to think about it. Met up with Wilson for lunch and came back home around 2plus. Dun know why le, though super tired but can’t really sleep well…
Then, went blading this morning with Linus at east-coast park. No sun le…so no tanning. In fact, it drizzled but blooooody windy for awhile. Bladed for like 3 hours and went to Parkway Parade for early dinner.

The week in short...

Wednesday: Went Sizzler, Suntec with Fongy, YP & Christine. Ha-ha…got some really latest updates of people from my ex-unit in Citi. Jeremy joined us at Starbuck later on and of all people, realized that the old classic Ong Cheng Keat a.k.a CK is current colleague with Jeremy. This ex-commando who dun has anyone that can click with him during his Citi days has some kind of ‘weirdo’ character that it’s just impossible for people to befriend with him. Anyway, good luck to JC…and yeah, thanks for sending me back that night.

Friday: Well, met so many people in one day. First, met Gary for lunch. We drove down (ok, he drove) to somewhere in Tiong Bahru area for some minced-pork porridge and also, plates of raw fish. Nice…it’s located at some coffee-shop that totally looked alien to me. Then, at night, met up with Lena & Inn Kien at Raffles City basement before going for my real appointment later. Wow, the basement is totally being revamped and looked so different. More shops and eatery places and of course so so so much bigger. We talked while they had their dinner at this place called MIX. Left the place when Kevin called (who is my really dinner appointment) at around 9plus. Had dinner at Thai-Express with him. Tried few places for drinks but it just incredible packed everywhere. Landed up walked back to Paulaner. Told (ok, kind of bitch / complain) him the whole housemate issues. He already knew part of the story, just that now will be more detailed. Anyway, he knows my housemate too...so, it’s kind of important and my concern to of what he thinks. Furthermore, he’s like my brother here in Spore. Well, that will be my last time talk about it…no more bitching…I will and must settle it sooooon.

Saturday: I went to the gym with Ray early early in the morning. Did the machines after like dun know how many weeks ago. Body aching at the end of it. Shopped around Heeren with him before coming back to get some sleep. Damn bloody needed it as I woke up super early though last night slept at 3 plus. Then, met Wilson for dinner at Tampines Mall. Tried the Teppanyaki. The cook damn lousy; like dun want to cook like that. We then, went to Starbuck. Thought of supper with the rest, but just too lazy and tired to go down to the prata place.

Sunday: Nothing much, just some usual housework’s. Finally, watched Pirates of the Caribbean at 6.pm with PT. That’s about it. The week coming will be super sian. The Chairman will be in town. Though he wun really bother us, but the feeling of having his presence around office is not really the fantastic...

Pacific Coffee @ Changi Airport

I went out with Greg & PT to airport just now. Had coffee & cakes at Pacific Coffee. Nothing much, just some “updates” and hangout as usual. Hmm…how I wish that I’m really at the airport for the right reason…as in really taking a flight !! Super sian Sunday. I really really need to make a quick decision to move out. Well, it’s confirmed that I will move out…it’s more like I really really need to pick myself up and start doing some action…haiz…

High-tea with TUG.

The T.U.G met up today for the high-tea at Sheraton Tower. Ray came to fetch me around 11.30am and went straight down. As usual, so difficult to gather the whole group nowadays; Sharon can’t make it but still OK as the rest of us showed up. The varieties there not really that spectacular and they dun even have any salad at all !! Anyway, talked and do some catching-up from 12plus to 3plus. We really need to put in more effort to meet up more often, I guess. After high-tea, shopped around Orchard for awhile till 6 plus. Bought this sneaker from Tiger Onitsuka; quite expensive but its ok since it has been awhile I last bought a “casual shoe”. Came back and had my medicine…phew, shiok man…

An Early night for a Friday

A quiet Friday after all the hardcore drinking for the past 1 week. Anyway, not feeling that good too; yeah, again, got running / blocked nose and cough. Back at home around 9plus and about to sleep...after all the drowsy meds I took.

Coldplay Concert @ Indoor Stadium

So, I went to the concert last nite. Reached there at 7pm and joined the private chill-out session for a couple of beers. Shake so many hands that seriously, I can’t really remember most of their names and I guess it’s mutual. And you can’t imagine that there’re actually so many people bought the $170 free standing tickets; it’s damn bloody packed. Anyway, it’s a 10,000 ppl sold-out concert. And then, you know what, I *thought* I video-cam’ed 2 of the songs during the concert. I even raised my bloody arms for so long that I kept telling myself, although it’s fucking tired and painful but it’ll be worth it. Yeah, you guess it... I actually din press the start button; so, it’s not recording at all and I only realized it when I’m outside on the way back. Bloody frustrating. Fuck man. Well...maybe next time. At least, we’re super near to the stage that we really can see the group’s face. The way they present the background screen was very nice and funky with lots of laser lighting. We thought of leaving slightly earlier to escape the crowds but can’t as we’re stuck with the rest too. So, watched the whole concert till the end and quickly walked to Tanjong Rhu side to get a cab. Went down to NewAsiaBar for some more drinks. Yeah, I know...it’s kind of hardcore but I’m mentally prepared...so, Monday will be the last drinking session. Anyway, din stayed long there and reached home at 1plus.

Ralph Lauren

Ok...I survived the weekend. Everything back to normal now...at least mentally. Financial damages will be out when I see the bank statement. So, after what went thru, no more spending toooo much time accompanying your guest. In the end, I’m the one who suffered. Anyway, bought the Black POLO eau de toilette yesterday by using my free taka vouchers; $120 with free toiletries bag / miniature / hair & body lotion. Walking around and around and around Orchard. The weather was bloody bad though...raining & raining & raining...
Well...tonight will be Coldplay concert; hopefully can get some nice pictures...

Time to WAKE UP...!

As mentioned, we went to Long Beach at Marina South for the seafood. Seriously, it’s super nice. $250++ for six person. Anyway, Sean settled the bill. We then went on to Clarke Quay and decided to stay on at Brewerkz. Took the 12 types of beer samplers. It’s a super bloody hot day. Left there at 12plus. Thought of going MOS but Sean was wearing Berms. I’m so surprised that so many places nowadays are no-entry for Berms. Anyway, after got rejected from few places, decided to just go back. We walked from CQ all the way back to Pan-Pac. Reached home at 3am. So, now, the poor me is suffering post-Sean-withdrawal-syndrome. We have been going out everyday since last Friday. Haiz…how not to suffer ? Hmmm…he’s flying off to Hongkong this morning. Anyway, back to reality now…watching Superman Returns later tonight.

I need an afternoon nap...

Just came back from co’s lunch; Keyaki in Pan-Pac. And as usual, we’re bitching about we’re only allowed to choose set A or set B !! Still ex though with 38+++ per set. Btw, got my Coldplay tickets. $170-free standing...right in front of the stage. Before that, will be chill-out session-by invitation only. Yeah, people, dun be jealous.
Well, tonight will be the last night outing with Sean. 6 of us will be going for the seafood dinner at Long Beach. The rest will join us later at Clark Quay.

I've Done My Best...

Monday: rest day after all the big partying over the weekend. No going out and came back home straight.
Tuesday: went to Bala for drinks. Had 2 pint and another can’t remember what. Still like the band very much. It’s a new band. Mich came too which I dragged her along but she went back after Bala. Me and Sean went on to The Atrium-Marina Mandarin. He wanted to order 1 bottle; the two of us only, siao. Of course not. In the end, had just 1 glass and left at around 12.
Wednesday: Went to Bala AGAIN. Another group of band was playing there. I like this group even better. Met Rick & friends there late at night. Left Bala at 12 plus. Pretty high by then.
Thursday: Totally dried-up. Especially thinking that Friday will be another “cheong” night. Feeling sick too but still...managed to pull myself and went to the gym: just for the sauna & steam room. No other exercise at all. Came back office and went to Paulaner for a short and quick drink with Sean, Bran & Abhijit: all boys outing. Told Sean to rest early tonight as we will have a looong night to go tomorrow with the WHOLE gang. Took a cab and reached home at 10. Bloody hell...let’s sleep.
